Each episode begins with a feature on an Independent Australian Country, Folk or Acoustic artist, with a song played before every interview, and then James dives straight into a chat with the people who make the Australian Outback and Bush such an amazing place. Despite being raised in Brisbane, Dave found himself at home in Queensland's shearing industry where he has spent the majority of his time working ever since. Even after an accident led to the amputation of his right arm, this didn't stop Dave from doing what he loved and he returned to the industry with the aid of prosthetic limbs, designed specifically for work in the Woolshed.

In his early twenties, Hayden Ashton's life revolved around work and making as much money as he possibly could. However, with the world at his feet, he found that money couldn't buy happiness and decided to hit the road with his family for a short road trip to escape it all and get away for a while.
Since then, the families lives have never been the same, as they now live full time on the road travelling across Australia in a caravan. Hayden now has a new mission in life too - playing his guitar and singing at campsites and pubs around Australia with every cent made going towards Make A Wish Foundation.
